Written by On Tuesday 12th March we held a very successful ‘Meet the Project team’ event in Kensington Community Learning Centre, which gave ourselves the opportunity to engage with the local community and discuss the planned resurfacing work of Kensington and Prescot Road, along with why the work was being carried out, what was involved and the benefits it will bring to the surrounding areas.
Our project team was made up of representatives from ourselves the contractor, and Liverpool City Councils consultant – Aecom, who were keen to answer any questions or concerns that the community and local business owners may have had, as well as explaining about the potential apprenticeship opportunities for local residents who are considering a career in construction
The construction work on the A57 Kensington is part of Liverpool City Councils Better Roads Programme to invest over £500m on Liverpool’s roads to make our city a better place to live, work and visit.
