We are working with St Sebastian’s Catholic Primary School, a local school in Liverpool, Kensington.

As part of our mini construction site scheme we built a construction site in the school ground for pupils to play on and have fun with. Our aim is to encourage children to view construction as an interesting future job and educate them about the need for civil engineering.

On Wednesday 26th June St Sebastian’s pupils participated in a road safety walk with Brake charity. Brake charity aims to stop the causes of road deaths and injuries, and to support the victims of road crashes. For the pupil’s efforts in the safety walk we donated £100 to the cause.

We recently held an art competition where the winning entries were enlarged and shown on the walls of our Empress Road compound in Kensington.

We awarded the 1st place winner £25 book vouchers, with 2nd place and 3rd place each winning £15 and £10 book vouchers. The theme of the art contest was construction and roadworks. We had a lot of great art submitted so it was a hard decision to choose a first, second and third place.

The children’s fantastic artwork has gone up on the walls of our compound, we hope the children are proud of their creative skills and imagination.
